On the evening of Saturday, March 31st, the entire city of Sydney, Australia held a one hour blackout as a call to action for the issues of global warming. While Australia has the most greenhouse gas emittance per capita, this is a step in the right direction as their city sponsored the event, showing that their government has not only acknowledged the problem, but also that they are willing to act along with Australian citizens to try to curb global warming.
